Премія Крафорда — щорічна наукова премія, яку започаткували в 1980 році шведський підприємець Голгер Крафорд та його дружина Анна-Ґрета. Премія вручається Шведською королівською академією наук у чотирьох категоріях: астрономія і математика; геологія; біологія, з акцентом на екології; та лікування поліартриту, хвороби, на яку Голгер хворів останні кілька років життя. Згідно з Академією, «ці дисципліни обрано як додаткові до тих, в яких вручається Нобелівська премія».[1]

Кожного року вручається лише одна нагорода, дисципліни чергуються згідно з ротаційною схемою.[1] Премія Крафорда вручається тоді, коли спеціальний комітет вирішує, що в галузі було здійсненно значний прогрес.[1]

Отримувач премія оголошується щороку в середині січня, вручається вона королем Швеції у квітні.[1][2] Грошова винагорода в 2015 році становила 4 млн крон (або 500 тис. US$) і призначена для фінансування подальших досліджень лауреата.

Першою жінкою, що отримала премію, стала астроном Андреа Ґез у 2012 році.
