Віллард Нельсон Клют (1869–1950) — американський письменник, натураліст і ботанік. Він народився у Стубені, син Джорджа та Рут Райт Клют. Він одружився з Ідою Мартін (народилася у 1869), яка ілюструвала деякі з його робіт.

Клют заснував Американське папоротеве товариство (англ. American Fern Society). Він був редактором «The Fern Bulletin», оригінального видання Американського папоротевого товариства (спочатку під назвою «The Linnaean Fern Bulletin»), та видання «The American Botanist».

Протягом багатьох років він був пов'язаний з університетом Батлера в Індіанополісі. Починаючи з 1928 року Клют займав посаду професора ботаніки та куратора ботанічного саду.

Він колекціонував папороті, плауноподібні та несудинні рослини (у тодішній класифікації) у Північній Америці, Ямайці та Новій Зеландії. Його зразки розміщені у гербарії Friesner університету Батлера.
