Biography

Born on August 29, 1948 in the village of Buryn (now a town) of Buryn district, Sumy Oblast. He began his career in 1964 as a worker of Zhovtenvuhillia plant in Kirovsk village of Donetsk Oblast.

Since 1967, he worked as a turner at the Kiev Automation Plant named after Petrovsky, in 1968-1972 he studied at the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (Kyiv Institute of National Economy), since 1972 he worked in the structural subdivisions of Kyivmiskbud.

Since 1981, he was a head of the Department of the Economic Laboratory of the Ministry of Construction of the UkrSSR, since 1982 - head of the sector of the Scientific Labor Organization of the Ministry of Construction Materials of the Ukrainian SSR, since 1988 - Senior Economist of the Main Department of Economics of the Ministry of Construction of the Ukrainian SSR. Since 1991, he held positions: assistant to the First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy of the Ukrainian SSR, assistant to the first vice-president of Ukrbud state corporation, Secretary of the Board of the Corporation, since 1996 - Deputy Chief of Technical Department of the Ukrbud State Corporation, since 1997 - Deputy Head of the Main Directorate and Chief of the Department for Interaction with Trade and Economic Missions of the State Tax Administration of Ukraine.

In 2005-2009 - advisor to the Chairman of the Accounting Chamber of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Family

Spouse - Taisa Vasilivna Soldatenko (Zelinska) (1950), Senior Specialist of the State Tax Service in the Pechersk district of Kyiv city. The descendant of the Polish graphic family of Zelinskyi emblem Ciołek (Ciołek), the Countess - the title was awarded by the Association of Krakow's Monarchists of the Grand Duchy of Krakow, added to the Knights of the Order of the Grand Duchy of Krakow and awarded the Commander's Cross of the 3rd Grade with a Star (Poland, Krakow, 2011).

Daughter - Viktoriia Viktorivna Marchenko (Soldatenko) (1980), graduated from the Ukrainian Humanitarian Lyceum (1997 with a silver medal) and the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University (2002, Master Degree in International Economic Relations). Senior specialist at JSC Ukreximbank.
