Parameters

Mandatory

• name = the official name (without 'island' word)
• location = the islands group name which confine the island
• country = where the island is located. If the island is shared, then use "country 1" and "country 2" and list them alphabetically.

Optional

• image name = locator/satellite/other map image (without 'Image:' term)
• image caption = caption for the image
• image size = size of the image in pixels (eg. 100px)
• locator map = a locator map image (without 'Image:' term) if the image name is different.
• native name = only when name is different with local name
• native name link = gives the language page of the native name, e.g. Indonesian for Indonesian island
• nickname = for a well known nickname(s)
• coordinates = geographic coordinates using {{coord}} with display=inline,title
• archipelago = the name of the group of islands the island belongs to
• total islands = total number of islands (for archipelagos only)
• major islands = names of the major islands (for archipelagos only)
• area = the total area of the island
• highest mount
• elevation = elevation of the highest mount
• country admin divisions title = title for the administrative divisions
• country admin divisions = the administrative divisions that govern the island
• country admin divisions title 1 = (country admin divisions title 1)
• country admin divisions 1 = (country admin divisions 1)
