Norsk bokmål: En liten del av menneskemassene på Festningsplassen under folkefesten for Nordpolekspedisjonens medlemmer etter hjemkomsten til Kristiania. Like til venste for talerstolen står de tretten polfarerne. Til høyre: Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson i lys frakk (sittende). Tribunen er pyntet med flagg, vimpler, girlandre og store bilder fra ekspedisjonen.
