While doing research for the improvement of the Савік Шустер-article on the English wiki I stumbled on the news he only speaks Russian during his (Ukrainian) shows. I actually saw a few of them (downloaded some from Yulia Tymoshenko's website) and never noticed (shows how much I understand Ukrainian 
) Just for confirmation: he only speaks Russian during his (Ukrainian) shows? Lately I got a bit tiered of wiki-articles about "old and heavy (and depressing)" subjects and tried to write some "lighter stuff" such as Шустер and tennis-hopeful Марина Заневська.— Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 00:23, 3 жовтня 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not a fan of Савік Шустер TV shows (meaning I watch them from time to time only) so my opinion is not very informative. But as to my experience he use only some phrases in Ukrainian occasionally (couple of time per show) and most of them are home-prepared. I never heard his free speech or conversation in Ukrainian, while I have no doubts that he is pretty good in understanding Ukrainian. Perhaps it might be the illustration that Ukrainian is far not the same as Russian - so to understand Ukrainian and to speak/write in Ukrainian is not the same thing. --pavlosh ҉ 10:20, 3 жовтня 2009 (UTC)
