Compsophis — рід змій родини Pseudoxyrhophiidae. Представники цього роду є ендеміками Мадагаскару.

Етимологія ред.
Наукова назва роду Compsophis походить від сполучення слів дав.-гр. κομψος — елегантний, витончений і οφις — змія[4].
