Photo of a Russian schooner Zarya (Заря) from 1910. The ship (originally Norwegian Harald Harfager) was bought in 1899 by the Russian Academy of Sciences, rebuilt to fit polar conditions and during 1900-02 set to an expedition to the Arctic (led by Eduard Toll). Details on the ship are on [1][dead link] (in Russian, website of a museum in city Polarnyi).
